The badger cull would be scrapped by the Labour Party if they win next May's general election
Speaking at the Labour Party Conference, Shadow Environment Secretary, Maria Eagles, said: ": “A Labour government will tackle the scourge of Bovine TB, but not by using a policy dubbed “an epic failure” by the Chief Scientific Advisor of Natural England.”
Describing the cull as 'inhumane', she said that culls would definitely be stopped without completing the pilot plots in Somerset and Gloucestershire.
