Accommodation

Upon entering the property, turning left leads you into the family living room, large enough to accommodate an informal dining area along with comfortable seating space in which to enjoy the wood burning stove on those cosy evenings. The bi-fold doors open out to magnificent sunset views and a delightful patio terrace for al fresco dining.

The limestone flagged flooring from the entrance door leads through to the kitchen, which feels very much the hub of the family home and has a central island, dual aspect windows and stable door out to the courtyard.

The separate dining room, with its own fireplace, gives a more formal option for dining and leads through to an inner hallway with boot storage. From here, there are doors to the courtyard and ground floor double bedroom with en suite. An additional utility room means all the essential are kept out of view, a perfect space for muddy boots and cleaning the dog after a day in the garden or the hills.

The guest annexe has its own door for access from the courtyard and has a distinct character feel with its vaulted ceiling, along with an open-plan kitchen/dining area, bedroom and its own bathroom.

The first floor bedrooms are positioned off two landing areas and comprise a large master bedroom with vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, window seat with views and en suite steam shower room. Four further bedrooms are serviced by the luxurious family bathroom and storage is provided by a mezzanine floor above the two central bedrooms.

Externally

The exterior of the property is a gardener s paradise and children s playground, combined in an idyllic setting. There is a mixture of both relaxed and more formal garden areas, with mature planting and lawns.

A meandering path runs along the beck, opening up to expose a clearing ideal for family activities, offering complete privacy yet only a stone s throw from the house, a wonderful environment for a lifetime of memories. The views from the clearing open through the treeline towards The Wainstones and Raisdale valley. A further pathway takes you around to the secret cedarwood hot tub, ideal for those even more relaxed days and evenings.
