The Devon County Show has rewritten the ‘12 days of Christmas’ to create a unique seasonal gift card.
According to show organisers, ‘On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me, a day at the Devon County Show!’
The card's verse features heavy horses, leaping lambs, tractors a’pullling, buzzing bees and mooing heifers.
Show secretary Ollie Allen said: “We’ve had great fun putting our own words to the verse and hope everyone enjoys our show-inspired idea.”
The Devon County Show’s version of the festive favourite is:
“On the 12th day of Christmas my true love sent to me,
Twelve pints a pouring,
Eleven heifers mooing,
Ten bees a buzzing,
Nine tractors a’pulling,
Eight lambs a leaping,
Seven sausages sizzling,
Six turkeys gobbling,
Five golden eggs..........
Four heavy horses,
Three little pigs,
Two monster trucks,
And a day at the Devon County Show!”
The Christmas gift cards are available online and from the show office until midnight on December 10.
