Liskeard Show success
THE 105th Liskeard show in Cornwall proved a huge success.
Held at the Merrymeet showground large numbers of people had gone through the gates soon after opening when the judging began.
The champion of the show was Robert Hair's Ayrshire heifer Tregays Honour 52, seen here pictured by Ray Roberts, with David Higman of the sponsors Mole Valley Farmers and cattle judge Paul Walker, right. Mr Hair farms at St Merryn.
Marie Dalgarno from Tregony took the first prize with her Blue Faced Leicester Ewe while Nigel Bunkum from Merrymeet won local breed champion and reserve with his Limousin cross heifer Mercedes.
North Sarah Ford of Liskeard won reserve supreme light horse of the show with Summertime.
