The Cornwood Agricultural and Horticultural Society Summer Show has been in existence for more than 100 years and still remains a traditional family day out.
There are plenty of attractions for all the family, Archery, Side Shows, Trade Stands, and Demonstrations and Displays with a country theme throughout the day, as well as a choice of refreshment stands and a beer tent.
Main ring entertainments include Falconry, Dog Agility Victor Pitts & Freddie Parker Duckherding with Sheepdogs, Tent Erecting Comp, Dartmoor Search & resue Demonstration Live Music, beer tent & much more.
The Horticultural Show has classes for a wide variety of exhibitors of all ages and abilities with both open and local classes. As well as shows for Horses, Sheep and Dogs, there is the addition of Lurcher, Terrier and family Dog Racing, Speed Jumping and Hurdles for dog competitors.
Entries for the Dog Show are taken in the ring.
The Pet and Poultry Show has opportunities for showing anything from Guinea Pigs to Geese.
The Show is held at Cadleigh Farm, Lee Mill, Nr. Ivybridge, very easily accessed from the A38. Free Parking.
