This year’s much-anticipated Camborne Show promises to be another fun-filled day of entertainment, competitions, animals, shopping, and food and drink. Visitors, competitors, and traders will gather on Saturday July 15, for the latest instalment of the much-loved annual event.

Organisers are confident this year’s event will build on the resounding success of the 2022 show which saw an attendance that matched the highest recorded and outstanding entries across the numerous competitive sections.

Show-goers will be treated to a lineup of attractions, displays, and activities suitable for all ages to enjoy at the 50-acre show field that is set in an enviable location perched on the dramatic north Cornish coast near Hell’s Mouth.

The competitive sections will take centre stage, showcasing the talents of those taking part. The competition will be hot in the pursuit of the rosettes and silverware in the cattle, sheep, horse, heavy horse, caged birds, domestic, and horticultural sections.

Showjumping classes, a children’s funfair, a vintage vehicle display, and a line-up of live music throughout the day will keep show-goers entertained. There will also be more than 100 trade stands, including local food and drink producers and crafters, to browse. There will also be plenty of food and drink op available to keep hunger and thirst at bay.

Camborne Show Society President, Reg Bennett said: "Our first post-Covid show last year was one of the busiest and best in the event’s 80 year history. We’re looking forward to another fantastic show this year. It’s already looking good, with a high number of trade stands booked and competitive entry numbers looking very healthy.

"We can’t wait to welcome one and all to enjoy a great day out with us when the gates open to visitors at 9am on Saturday July 15. Parking is free, and free shuttle buses will again run from Camborne to help visitors get to and from the event."
