An exciting field display showcasing Massey Ferguson and its entire heritage will be at the 2015 Bradworthy and District Ploughing Match.

Current machines will be displayed and competing from the manufacturer courtesy of local dealer, Alan Snow Ltd.

We are welcoming everyone lucky enough to own anything from Massey Ferguson, Ferguson, Massey Harris, Ford-Ferguson, Ferguson Brown etc so please get in touch with us, come along and be part of this momentous day.

As this display is held alongside the annual ploughing match and produce show, we actively encourage seeing the Ferguson system at work, with a dedicated Ferguson Class, a novice class and special prizes for competitors ploughing with MF/Fergy Tractor and plough combinations.

There will also be a static display to accompany the working tractors and a parade of machines through the ages, with guest speakers sharing their knowledge and memories.

This event is on Saturday September 12, superbly located adjacent to the A39 at Seckington Farm, Hartland EX39 5SG by kind permission of Messrs Goaman. In addition to the special theme, the traditional ploughing match boasts a display of working tractors from many different manufacturers of all ages, their drivers demonstrating their fine skill and patience in creating spectacular work. Novice ploughmen are welcome and there are special prizes for local YFC members.

The farm produce show now encompasses garden vegetables, eggs, photographs and special classes for children.

There are also several demonstrations of new tractors and ploughs by local traders, looking to show off their latest products to potential customers.

Our plea is for as many machines to congregate as possible – old and new; restored and original; off farm or the infamous 135 scraper tractors- we need you!
