Spectacular show attendance

OVER 125,000 people flooded through the gates of the 2010 Royal Cornwall Showground at Wadebridge to give the show its third-highest attendance.

THE Royal Cornwall Show provided a good oportunity for one farming family from the county to take delivery of a huge new tractor with spreader and drive it home from the Wadebridge showground.

TAKING his second Aberdeen-Angus championship of the major shows this year was Colin Hutchings of Dulverton, Somerset, who was at the Royal Cornbwall Show with his April 2006-born bull Wedderlie Kentucky Excel F176.

THE new Beef South West event has been launched by newly-elected president John Lee and vice president David Camp at Exeter Livestock Centre, where the one-day show will be held on Wednesday September 29.
