Takeover of mineral company
The Denis Brinicombe Group has acquired the Scottish based mineral nutrition company Lachlan MacGregor Feeds (formerly trading as Marr & MacGregor Feeds).
"This acquisition further strengthens the Group's position in the ruminant livestock sector and demonstrates our long term commitment and confidence in the Scottish agricultural marketplace," said James Brinicombe, Company Director.
The sale will include all products branded and sold under the Lachlan MacGregor Feeds trademark and also the services of the existing team of direct sales agents.
As part of the deal Lachlan MacGregor, founder of the company, will continue to work for the business and will manage the day to day running for the foreseeable future.
Lachlan MacGregor Feeds will retain its trading identity and will be branded as "part of the Denis Brinicombe Group".
