The Gloucestershire Root, Fruit and Grain society will be holding a Tillage Event at Hazelcote Farm, Nailsworth, Gloucester, on September 12, with live and static displays and demonstrations.

Organiser Samantha Pennington, secretary of the GRFGS said: “The Tillage event is a popular date in the farming calendar and is always well attended and contested. There will be working demonstrations of equipment and a full line up of static trade stands.”

This year farmers will have the opportunity to catch up on the very latest equipment at work across 70 acres and discuss new designs with industry-leading experts from Claas Western, Cotswold Farm Machinery, JJ Farm Services, Lister Wilder, P&D Engineering (Bredon) Ltd, Tallis Amos Group and T H White Agriculture.

Gates open 9.30am and admission is free. Working demonstrations starting from 9.30am through to 4pm.

Meanwhile, the society dinner will be held at Gloucester Rugby Club on Friday November 24, 2017.
