A business that offers engineering solutions within the arable and livestock sectors is due to introduce UK farmers to their wide range of specialist services at Lamma 2017.

Crowley Engineering, which has over 40 years of experience, has an international reputation for expertise in manufacturing and installing farm equipment.

Their products range from grain storage facilities to feeding systems, dryers, milling equipment and silos, however in recent years they have seen significant growth in biomass fuels equipment.

Now, they are set to demonstrate their range at products at Lamma 2017, which they believe could benefit UK farmers.

Michael White, from Crowley Engineering, said: "Many have installed systems using pellets produced from farm waste, for example from energy crops, agri-residues and slurry.

"This provides the business with affordable heat and power, with the added advantage of energy security, reduced carbon emissions and, in many cases, the creation of sustainable jobs.

"We're able to offer a turnkey service for pelleting plants, as well as supplying recovery systems for a host of materials from composting to slurry separation.

"More than ever, farmers need to focus on the efficiency of their business to ensure it's equipped to deal with future volatility and market demands and, for this reason, investments need to be made wisely.

"We're seeing farmers identifying key areas for future business investment and wanting to ensure that investment is maximised.

"Our 100-employee strong team understands the demands of the agricultural market, they work on the manufacture of our products, the installation and the technical support.

"This fully integrated business approach allows us to offer invaluable service to our customers throughout the world.

"We're excited to be introducing our products and services to UK farmers, and feel they can benefit from our in-depth knowledge of their needs and the practicalities at Lamma, and look forward to expanding our business in the UK."
