Kivells auctioneers are delighted to announce that they have helped raise over £20,000 for local charities and good causes in the last few weeks which takes their total raised for 2014 to over £72,000.
At the annual charity auction for the Devon Air Ambulance and the Torrington Farmers Hunt auctioneer David Kivell conducted a mammoth entry of over 300 lots which raised over £9,000 at Yarnscombe Village Hall.
Just two nights earlier, James Morrish of Kivells travelled to the Rod & Line Public House near Liskeard to auction nearly 400 lots, for their 2014 Annual Harvest Auction which raised over £7,200 for the Children’s Hospice Appeal in St Austell.
Speaking after the auction James Morrish said: “At Kivells supporting those who live in the West Country is really important to us and anything we can do to help will be done.” Other charity sales conducted lately include £2,500 at the Western Morning News Business Awards, £800 at Chilsworthy for North Devon Hospice and £250 for the South Devon Cattle Breeders.
Mark Bromell, Director of Kivells said “The generosity of the public within the South West is amazing. These recent fundraising efforts have now lifted the total raised by Kivells over £150,000 within the last 2 years.
