Duchy College is now recruiting to the Spearhead Academy: a unique ‘learning and earning’ partnership with Spearhead International, one of the biggest suppliers, food processors and retailers in Europe.
Students gain high quality training in practical skills, agricultural sciences and management, and will learn about work with the best of modern technology, leading to profitable and sustainable food production in Europe.
Roger Clark, Course Leader for the Spearhead Academy, said: “We are now accepting applications for our next intake of students. We are looking for someone special, they don’t need any previous experience they just need a good attitude to learning and a passion for agriculture.
"In return they gain an industry recognised qualification, experience working in the UK, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Romania whilst becoming an apprentice with a forward thinking employer. This course provides real employability and skills which are transferred into the work place.”
