Dairy contest
OVER 30 Young Farmers from Beaminster, Marshwood Vale, Wells and Glastonbury and Wedmore Clubs competed in this year's Melplash Agricultural Society Stock Judging competition, held at Pilsdon Dairy.
This annual dairy stock judging contest was sponsored this year by The Kingfisher Vet-erinary Practice, Crewkerne and judged by Mr David Hawkins.
Said Anita Ford, Melplash Agricultural Society's Secretary: "We would like to thank everybody who has supported this event. Our congratulations go to all the winners and special thanks goes to our sponsors, The Kingfisher Veterinary Practice, our judge, David Hawkins and to our hosts, Roland, Heather and Simon Bugler who provided us all with a delicious supper."
