Auctioneers Greenslade Taylor Hunt report success across the board at their second collective land and property auction in July.
The latest auction at Batch Country House, Lympsham, on July 20, saw nine lots go under the hammer.
Auctioneer Robert Baker said: “Demand continues to be strong for all types of land coming forward for auction, whether that is low-lying moor ground or amenity paddocks. The auction room was full of prospective buyers, with a number also using the online facility leading to competition throughout.”

The sale highlight was Nino’s Dairy Farm, Sutton Mallet, which was sold in a total of seven lots, with one lot being sold prior to auction. The farmhouse and buildings which comprised lot 1 sold for £530,000. Other highlights included 0.64 acres at £40,000 and 69.24 acres of low-lying land achieving £389,000 selling above its guide price. A small equestrian development at Cleeve, Bristol, achieved £185,000 and a residential property at Chilton Polden, Bridgwater, which required modernisation throughout went for £230,000.

The next land and property auctions take place at The Shrubbery Hotel, Ilminster, on September 27, and the Aldwick Estate, Redhill, Bristol, on October 18. Both events start at 2pm.
