Police are appealing for information about a man and a "suspicious" van after a generator was stolen from a farm shed in Mid Devon last month.
The burglary was carried out in Burlescombe, near Tiverton. Officers were called to reports of a suspicious van seen near a farm shed next to St Mary’s Church at around 5.40pm on Saturday, March 11.
Police describe the suspect as a white man, aged in his mid-20s and wearing a light grey tracksuit.
The van is believed to have been a Ford Transit long panel van with a 70 number plate and van hire insignia on the side in blue writing.
It is thought that entry was forced into the shed and the generator, worth £300, stolen.
