Quick-thinking members of the public followed thieves after they'd stolen a horsebox and succeeded in helping to recover it.
On Monday (March 8) at around 2pm a horsebox was stolen from the Ladock area.
Members of the public called the police on 999 before then following the suspects, who were driving a dark coloured Volkswagen car, possibly using false number plates.
The horsebox was then abandoned in the A30 in Fraddon and was returned to its owners.
