The Network and National Park Authority have worked up a detailed proposal for post-Brexit support for farming on Exmoor that is called Exmoor’s Ambition.
Defra has invited all National Parks in England to put forward proposals to run pilots for new schemes and Exmoor's response is one of seven that have been submitted.
If Exmoor is successful in getting funding from government, the next stage will be to work with a group of Exmoor farmers to test the proposals. In anticipation of this, expressions of interest are requested from Network members who might be willing to take part in a pilot phase.
No firm commitments are needed at this stage but if you would be willing to take part, sharing information about your farm (confidentially) and helping to refine and improve the proposals, email Katherine Williams at KWilliams@northdevonplus.co.uk before May 18.
