Auctioneers Sawdye & Harris of Ashburton, South Devon, have been instructed by executors of the late Mr Christopher Tembey, who traded as South West Tractors Ltd from his base close to Cheriton Bishop for many years, to hold an auction of a wide range of machinery, vehicles and equipment.
On Saturday, May 13, a comprehensive selection of six modern tractors including Vintage MF tractor, new NC dumper, JCB excavtor, case digger, manitou loader, Green Goddess fire engine, workshop tools and a large selection of new and used agricultural equipment and fittings will go to bids.
There is also a digger and loader buckets, together with a small collection of vintage classic cars and bikes including an Austin 7 deluxe saloon, Morris Cowley 6320 four door Saloon, 1928 AJS K9 motorbike, 1936 Rudge Special Motorbike and a 1946 Velocette Mac Motorbike. All have been fully restored and there will be many other interesting and varied items.
