Farmers are invited to a meeting this week called The Farm Beneath Your Feet, held in Lower Northcott, Devon, on March 30.
Organised by the Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group SouthWest, the meeting costs £5 for a ticket and runs from 2pm to 4pm.
Talks include building good soil structure and soil carbon levels, treating the soil biology as a livestock enterprise, management of hedges, novel and adapted machinery for soil and woodland management.
Speakers will include Luppo Diepenbrook of Pasture For Life, and Dr Jenni Dungait from the Rothamsted Farm Platform.
Visitors are advised to bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
