Lloyds Banking Group has announced that Andrew Naylor has been appointed managing director of the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC), alongside his existing role as UK head of Agriculture for Lloyds Bank.
The move follows the departure of Jonathan Allright, after 29 years with the Group, and means that the two businesses through which Lloyds Banking Group serves the Agriculture sector, will now be under single leadership.
Andrew Naylor will report into Paul Spencer, Chief Executive of AMC.
The announcement relates only to the leadership of the two businesses. No changes are being made to the structure of the businesses, the nationwide network of Regional Agricultural Managers (RAM), or the products and services they offer to customers.
Andrew Naylor said: “We are very proud of the support we provide to the UK’s agriculture sector through AMC, as well as the Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland Agriculture business. These are strong businesses serving a crucial sector of the UK economy.
“The continued growth of AMC is testament to Jonathan’s strong leadership, and I am committed to continuing to improve the service we offer our customers through Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland Agriculture, and AMC over the coming months and years.”
