Yarcombe and District Young Farmers have recently made their charity donations for the year.
They have been busy fundraising to support two local charities. A range of activities have taken place over the year to raise the funds including whist drive, carol singing, ferret racing and auction of promises.
On Monday October 24 the club presented a £3,500 donation to Somerset & Dorset Air Ambulance and also £2,500 to Devon YFC to help fund the new rural hub for future young farmers.
Altogether the club has raised £12,500 over the last couple of years to support Devon YFC. The club says it is passionate in supporting the new building as it helps to secure future generations of young farmers.
Press secretary Laura Dare said: "We are delighted that we could contribute this much to our charities. The club has worked extremely hard to raise this money."
