The Global Cheese Awards, which takes place at the Frome Agricultural and Cheese Show, has altered its judging date to Thursday September 10 where seventy industry experts will judge who will become the next Global Supreme Champion from over 1000 cheese entries.

Awards will then be presented to all prize winners at the Global Cheese Awards dinner which will commence after judging.

The Global Cheese Awards continue to expand and attract entrants from all over the world from countries such as The Netherlands, Greece, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Estonia, USA, Spain, Ireland and of course the UK.

This spectacular array of exhibits and prize winners will be on display to the public at this year’s Frome Agricultural and Cheese Show which will follow on Saturday September 12 held at West Woodlands Show Ground near Frome, Somerset.

Over the past five years attendance at Frome Agricultural and Cheese Show has soared, attracting over 21,000 visitors last year. This popular community event has also become one of the largest Cattle Show’s in the UK with over 600 cattle class entries last year and over 450 cattle exhibited. At Frome Show we are proud of the immense quality livestock who travel from all over the country to compete.

Celebrity chef Paul Rankin will be flying over from Ireland to demonstrate some of his delicious recipes using the finest ingredients in the Cheese Pavilion. Also located in the Cheese Pavilion is Coronation Street star, Sean Wilson, who is celebrity cheese judge and is also displaying his own cheeses.

The entertainment on offer at Frome Show is vast and varied, with this year being no exception. Back by popular demand is Titan the Robot, who has performed his unique blend of comedy, street theatre and music with the likes of Will.I.A.M, Rhianna, Katy Perry and Robbie Williams. The UK’s number 1 motocycle display team are also making an appearance at this year’s Show. Bolddog Lings FMX Team will be demonstrating the same jaw dropping stunts that they performed on Britian’s Got Talent.

New to the 2015 Frome Show is Joseph Peace Fire Stunt Spectacular who combines unique fire stunts with comedy. We are also welcoming Birds of Prey Displays Ltd to the Show, who are providing us with their Vulture and Eagle display team. These magnificent birds will be performing free flying displays and will be on static display throughout the day.
