Exmoor Hill Farming Network is hosting a research and review project to help deliver improved water quality in the Upper Exe.
Working with local farmers, land managers and landowners, the team will develop an Action Plan that could feed into a programme of activity to be rolled out in the Upper Exe catchment over the next five years.
The programme is part of South West Water’s (SWW) spending plans for 2015 to 2020 and outline proposals for the whole region have been approved by Ofwat.
If you are located in the Upper Exe Catchment (between The Chains and Dulverton, including the area around Wimbleball Lake) you are invited to a meeting to discuss land management issues affecting water quality.
We invite you to tell us what you need to implement improvements to water quality, and how any additional funds should be spent on Wednesday October 8 2014 at 7pm at the White Horse Inn, Exford Please book a place with Katherine Williams at the Exmoor Hill Farming Network on 01643 841455 or email kwilliams@northdevonplus.co.uk
