Large Herd Seminar will focus on improving dairy herd performance
Practical Solutions to Improving Herd Performance is the theme of the Third Large Herd Seminar. Aimed at innovative, forward-thinking dairy producers and veterinary surgeons, the 2008 event will take place on Monday June 30 and Tuesday July 1 at the Ardencote Manor Hotel and Country Club, Claverdon in Warwickshire.

Intervet’s bluetongue vaccine enters distribution chain
THE Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) has today (30 April 2008) granted Intervet the all clear to begin distributing its bluetongue vaccine, Bovilis BTV8. The initial batch of one million doses will be in 20ml bottles, with two million doses in 50ml bottles following in a few days.
