Daily milk deliveries in Britain continue to decline – down nearly 11% for the same period last year.
DairyCo says UK daily deliveries for the two weeks ending 6 April were 10.7% down on the same period in 2012. The company says deliveries averaged 35.4m litres a day - down 4.2m litres a day. Against the three-year average, current deliveries are about 2.6m litres/day lower - 6.8% down.
