Staff at cattle breeding company, Dairy Daughters, have entered into the spirit of Red Nose Day this yeaer by selling cherry Bakewells at Sedgemoor Livestock Market and dressing for the occasion. They plan to continue to collect at today’s Lady Day Collective Sale (19 March) when donations from visitors will be gratefully received.
From their new office location at the heart of Sedgemoor Livestock Market near Bridgwater in Somerset, the Dairy Daughters team is ideally placed to attract donations from passing farmers and other members of the public who have been visiting sales and exhibitions at the centre, as well as their neighbouring agricultural businesses who have generously donated.
The grand total will be donated to the Comic Relief Charity as part of the Red Nose fundraising campaign.
