North Devon dairy farmers Martyn and Verlie Ann Hookway are off to the ancient city of Bruges in Belgium for a luxury weekend as winners of the Bekina Wellington boot competition held during the Livestock Event in Birmingham.
Robert Houlbrooke of Bekina distributors Agrihealth was on hand to make the prize presentation when a delighted Verlie Ann called at her local Mole Valley Farmers outlet in South Molton. “We are really looking forward to visiting Flanders where our Berkina Steplite wellies are made, boots that really are designed to suit farmers like ourselves wearing them 18 hours a day at busy times,” Verlie Ann added.
